Structured Lesson Plans

Our lessons are well-structured to maximise learning:
Homework Review: We mark and give feedback on previous homework to resolve any gaps.
Practice Questions: After learning new material, students are given questions to practice applying it. We occasionally quiz students to assess comprehension and identify areas for improvement. This helps us keep students on track and progressing.

Flexible Lesson Timings

Each of our sessions typically lasts two hours per subject, giving students plenty of time to dive deep into the material while ensuring it's delivered at a comfortable pace. This duration provides a balance between instruction, practice, and feedback, allowing students to fully grasp new concepts We understand that students need time to recharge during intensive study sessions. That's why we include a 10-minute break in each lesson.

Homework is an essential component of our teaching strategy. By assigning work after each lesson, we help students apply the concepts they've learned in class. Their performance on these tasks enables us to monitor their understanding and tailor future lessons based on their needs.

Meet the Team!

Hassan Mroue

I have a PhD degree and over 10 years of experience tutoring pupils privately and online across the UK in subjects including Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I also worked in various tuition centres where I gained large experience from teaching and managing group of students from different age groups and abilities of up to 15 per classroom. In addition, I have undertaken Graduate Teacher Assistant roles in Mathematics and Maths-related subjects at Brunel University where I ran seminars for year 1 and 3 engineering students.

Hadi Tannous

Having faced challenges early in my education, including failing Year 4, I was often labeled 'below-average' until being diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD at 24. This shifted my perspective, revealing the need for tailored learning approaches. Now with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, I’m passionate about helping students excel in STEM subjects. As a partner and tutor at Star Tuitions, I offer affordable, personalised tutoring that nurtures focus, self-esteem, and growth through innovative methods and compassionate teaching.
